ANATOMY ASSIGNMENT #1:

Create a Classroom Study Guide

Click below on the link that reads, "Sample Study Guide" to see how I've put together a set of "Digital Flash Cards" on muscle groups as an example to review.  In preparation for our test on the muscular system, you will work asynchronously on Google Docs to make a collaborative presentation that results in a classroom study guide for all of you to use! You will notice that I've assigned a SET to each of you.  A set of digital flash cards is one slide with the name of the anatomical term, and the second slide that contains the definition of the term.   Each digital flash card set MUST have the following elements:

1. Name of the anatomical term on the first slide in font Times New Roman, size 16, BOLD.  For example, "Medial"
2. The corresponding definition on the second slide in font Times New Roman, size 16, italic.  For example, "closer to the median plane"
3. A graphic, picture, or image that represents that term on the first slide.

The slides are due on June 7th.  Your class is counting on you, so don't be late in submitting!  Students, you are encouraged to contact your classmates to make comments or suggestions on their slides.  You are NOT permitted to change their slides, OR create their slides for them.  I trust that the work you do is your own.  Scoring is based on the following rubric:

CATEGORY	4	3	2	1
Text- Font and Format	Font formats as requested.			Font is not Times New Roman and/or italicized or bolded as requested.
Cooperation	Group delegates tasks and shares responsibility effectively all of the time.	Group delegates tasks and shares responsibility effectively most of the time.	Group delegates tasks and shares responsibility effectively some of the time.	Group often is not effective in delegating tasks and/or sharing responsibility.
Content - Accuracy	All content throughout the presentation is accurate. There are no factual errors.	Most of the content is accurate but there is one piece of information that might be inaccurate.	The content is generally accurate, but one piece of information is clearly flawed or inaccurate.	Content is typically confusing or contains more than one factual error.
Use of Graphics	All graphics are attractive (size and colors) and support the theme/content of the presentation.	A few graphics are not attractive but all support the theme/content of the presentation.	All graphics are attractive but a few do not seem to support the theme/content of the presentation.	Several graphics are unattractive AND detract from the content of the presentation.
Spelling and Grammar	Presentation has no misspellings or grammatical errors.	Presentation has 1-2 misspellings, but no grammatical errors.	Presentation has 1-2 grammatical errors but no misspellings.	Presentation has more than 2 grammatical and/or spelling errors.
